TREINAMENTO EM HABILIDADES SOCIAIS PROFISSIONAIS: DESENVOLVIMENTO DE COMPETÊNCIAS SOCIAIS DE LÍDERES DE UMA INSTITUIÇÃO BANCÁRIA
Abstract
This study was carried out from a Professional Social Skills Training with the leadership and management of a banking institution in the interior of the state of São Paulo, with the objective of developing such skills in the agents of change of the organization, allowing the analysis of the evolution from the self-assessment of performance, applied before and after training. The case study procedure of an applied nature was used with exploratory objectives of a quantitative approach. It started with individual meetings with the 16 leaders for the first self-analysis of individual competences, applying the Professional Social Skills Wheel, selecting the skills most needed to carry out the training, identified as: social skills of Civility and Citizenship, Assertiveness and Giving and Receiving Feedback. At the end of the training, the Wheel was reapplied, with the aim of recording improvements in the self-assessment of the topics discussed and the generalization of the knowledge acquired to the other topics. The results found showed that there was a significant reconsideration of the professional attitudes regarding the 10 social skills investigated before the training because, for the most part, the employees recognized themselves with lower scores than in the first application, based on the real knowledge of the concept of each one. of the skills developed, and there was also a relevant improvement in the judgments in the skills worked on, as the employees had better scores in the third application. It can be concluded that there was progress in the behavior of change agents in the organization after the application of training, reaching the proposed objectives.
