The objective of this work is to measure the existence of income clusters among the municipalities of the State of Rio Grande do Sul. For this, a survey was conducted with the 497 municipalities of the State in the period 2002-2019. As a method, the Exploratory Analysis of Spatial Data (AEDE) was chosen. It was verified, through the Local Moran Index, the existence of two regions with statistically significant spatial dependence for the two periods. One has a low-low pattern (Q1), located between the Southeast and Central-Eastern regions. The second region of cluster concentration comprises municipalities located between the North and Northeast regions of Rio Grande do Sul, presenting a high-high pattern (Q4). In addition, it is observed that there is a shift in the spatial distribution of income between the regions of the State during the analyzed period.
