Abstract

The local development agencies present a new boarding for promotion of economic, enterprise, ambient and social the development of a territory. They are based, in a better use of the potential of endogenous resources through the relation between local, public and private agents. This paper identifies the project performance factors of a development n agency through the local development theory. A study with 16 organizations was performed that had developed projects with the Timóteo Development Agency and the methodology of its management of projects was studied. The result of these analyses indicates that the management of projects of local development is determined by the local context, the capacity of the responsible ones for the project in acquiring the confidence, the mobilization and the performance accomplish of the benefited organizations and the too much necessary local actors to the projects.
