FATEC TATUÍ POTENTIAL ON FULLFILLING SOROCABA TECHNOLOGICAL PARK DEMANDS

Abstract

Based on the premisse that intellectual promotion maximizes economic and social development of a country, public policies have been increasingly dedicated to the generation of an integrative environment among universities, enterprises and the State. The creation of technological parks is one of them. STP has been outstanding for its remarkable growth and development of new public-private partnerships over the last two years. Through this accelerated growth, the demand for researches in technological and innovation areas has been more and more latent, however, there is a significant difficulty on developing new projects. There is physical space, guidance, encouragement, but there seems to be lacking something that attracts students to this habitat. In this article, the potential of Fatec was elicited in order to cover these demands, identifying the critical points, the professors', students' and the instituion main barriers, showing some alternatives for the fostering on innovation and technology area researchers, seeking for capability for fullfilling STP demands.
