Abstract

The aim of this work is to reflect on the relationships established between communication and development, based on an analysis of the communication between the Catarinense Federal Institute - IFC and its stakeholders. IFC currently has fifteen campuses distributed in Santa Catarina. The rectory is located in Blumenau. To reach the objective of the investigation, the methodology used was the qualitative-quantitative research, including bibliographical research and morphological and content analysis of the posts made in the official profile of the IFC in a virtual social network. The analysis concludes that the institution's communication promotes actions of sustainability, expansion of citizenship and social change.
