PRÁTICAS SUSTENTÁVEIS EM INDÚSTRIA DO AGRONEGÓCIO
Abstract
The continuous improvement of products and services contributes to the company being able to remain competitive in the market, and the principles of sustainability principles and its environmental practices, gain an increasingly expressive representation in this process. Corroborating these facts, due to environmental policies made by the government with the scope of increasing the rigor of environmental laws, agribusiness in Brazil has become, more and more, the agenda of discussions about impacts generated in the environment as a whole. The purpose of this article is to point out the sustainability practices adopted by an agribusiness company aligned with the sustainability tripod, which helps in the search for continuous improvement of products. The research is qualitative and descriptive, with documentary and bibliographic data collection. We sought to verify, in the scientific literature, the review of the themes of sustainability, corporate sustainability and agribusiness, sustainable practices and innovation, and sustainability policies in Brazil. As a result, it could be seen that the organization employs the three dimensions, environmental in order to mitigate negative impacts on the environment; social that are directed to the management of human capital and finally, in the economic dimension, the sustainable practices legitimized by ISO certifications improve performance and productivity, resulting in market recognition and improvements to its products.
