AVALIAÇÃO DA ESTRUTURA DE TRANSFERÊNCIA DE TECNOLOGIA EM INSTITUIÇÕES CIENTÍFICAS, TECNOLÓGICAS E DE INOVAÇÕES DA REGIÃO CENTRO-OESTE DO BRASIL

Abstract

The innovation is strongly linked to the economic development and progress of the country and for it to advance on the productive sector, it is necessary to adopt and celebrate technology transfer, where Scientific, Technological and Innovation Institutions (ICTs) are active and have well-developed structures that collaborate in the interaction with companies. Faced with such relevance, the present work sought to evaluate the structure of technology transfer carried out by ICTs present in the Midwest region (CO) of Brazil, through a study of innovation policies in the states and Federal District (DF) and a mapping of this structure in each of them. With the help of bibliographical and documentary research, as well as sending questionnaires to public institutions, especially universities and federal institutes, we obtained results that demonstrate the growth of this instrument, as a means of negotiation and commercialization of the assets developed by the institutions. A positive point is that all states and the DF have legislation focused on innovation policies and have ICTs. Among them, the most developed in this area is Goiás, followed by DF. Mato Grosso presents important advances and Mato Grosso do Sul still needs investments and specific knowledge. It was observed, however, that even though science and technology have advanced, there is still much to be done for them to act in an innovation system capable of promoting the generation and dissemination of new technologies and, above all, integrated into the productive sector.
