ANÁLISE DA APLICABILIDADE DO PLANO DE GERENCIAMENTO DE RISCO NAS INSTITUIÇÕES DE ENSINO SUPERIOR

Abstract

Risk management is essential for any organizational segment, as risks have different characteristics depending on the operating environment and its own operating characteristics. Thus, its application aims to analyze the risks with the help of management tools, it can mitigate and anticipate the risks that impact the institutional objectives and mission, aiming to facilitate and make their verification efficient. The identification of risks, as well as their classification, impact and probability of occurrence are fundamental, and it is possible to do so according to the guidelines set out in NBR ISO 31000. This article sought to understand the concept of risk management in educational institutions higher, specifically in the public sphere, to verify its applicability and the results demonstrated by these organizations. The study is a bibliographic research of integrative review, in which the scientific production of risk management in higher education institutions was analyzed, in online journals, in the Google Scholar database, whose sample consisted of eight publications, between 2010 and 2021. Therefore, an aspect of the category of periodicals and their applicability in higher education institutions was presented. It was concluded that for 80% of the institutions present in the researched articles, the theme is still new and, therefore, they impose barriers and difficulties in the adherence to the methodology. However, it was possible to observe positive points, such as the increase in performance, governance of activities, among other points that added to the institution and that became fundamental for the governance of senior management.
